What can fit this scope
- Above-ground swim spas after site review
- Cabinet, shell, insulation, and equipment sections
- Covers and loose accessories included in the estimate
- Material staged for an approved loading route
How the job is defined
The first review identifies the unit, installation, connection status, material condition, access route, and legal loading position. The estimate should name what leaves and what stays.
Common estimate factors include dimensions, dismantling needs, deck integration, stairs, gate width, carry distance, ground conditions, parking, and the volume of material.

Prepare the property
- Provide exact or approximate length, width, and height.
- Show every side of the unit and the entire route to legal parking.
- Identify retaining walls, fences, slopes, soft ground, and overhead limits.
- Do not assume a swim spa fits a standard hot-tub estimate.
Questions customers ask
Does the hot tub need to be disconnected first?
Any hardwired electrical or fixed plumbing work should be handled by the appropriate qualified person before dismantling. Share the current status during the estimate.
Can the unit move out intact?
Sometimes. Dimensions, condition, weight, gate width, turns, slopes, and loading access determine whether intact handling is practical.
Is deck repair included?
No repair or finish carpentry is assumed. Deck removal and the post-removal stopping point must be written into the scope.
